Founded in Melbourne, Australia, this band’s mission is to “channel the cosmic power of heavy metal and share it with those who will take up the challenge; to join them on a musical odyssey as far as the imagination will allow” (according to their own bio).
The group is still relatively new to the game, having just released their 5-track EP debut in November of 2019. Despite that inexperience, GALAXY shows a lot of promise with impressive chops and unique song-writing. Their EP was even mastered by THE Andy La Rocque (from King Diamond) at his own Sonic Train Studios in Sweden.

HOW THEY GOT ON MY RADAR
- A big thanks to the YouTube channel NWOTHM (New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal) for bringing this band to my attention.
- Frankly, I was intrigued by the album cover. I knew nothing about the band prior to seeing their name and EP cover art so an additional thanks to Killustrate Illustrations for creating the cover art!
